Booked a double room online and it turned out to have a terrace with an amazing view. the best part was there's a hot tub right on the terrace! 🌟.

I went with my wife on my honeymoon. Super good spot on the island. hotel is very clean and facilities are very comfortable, if there is something to emphasize; we would highlight the tranquility and privacy that the hotel offers... We also thought it was a good idea to have two swimming pools, one for children and one for adults, with an ocean view and a bar inside the pool. Highly recommended!
only negative point was our visit to the Mexican restaurant last night, where we had no reservation. We understand that it was our mistake not to reserve a table, restaurant was almost empty and waiter refused to feed us. In the end, captain intervened and gave us a table, although he only brought us 3 dishes and we were left hungry (because we didn't have the possibility to order starters). That said, food at the Mexican restaurant was really good.

I was there for 3 nights and ate at a la carte restaurant for dinner. The bed was incredibly large and it was great having a mini bar fridge, climate control, and a personal safe. The location was stunning and amazing, away from the chaotic cruise ship area and overlooking the ocean front. Exceptional service was provided.

The staff, the hotel situation.
buffet does not correspond at all to that of a hotel of the Melia chain. From the 2nd day of our stay the food buffet was made in the place where the snack was offered until then, dishes and kitchen service were totally inadequate. Dinner was served in the theatre where the day before there was a show, our table practically touching the theatre platform, buffet served on tables in front of the seats and no kitchen service at the moment and minimum 'buffet' dishes. It has been a total degradation of the standard of the Melá chain, at least to what this chain offers in Spain. Finally the amenities of the room for a 4 * hotel unbearable, I even had to ask for a shower cap to which I replied that it did not correspond to the room where I stayed (the price if it was 4 * but the quality at all). I do not recommend this hotel at least for Spanish people used to Melia service, I certainly will not return.

The rooms they gave us were pretty cool, and they even had a hot tub on the balcony 🛁. the hotel was in an awesome spot, super close to a protected reef and where all the cruise ships come and go from.

The Sunday buffet, there is more variety of dishes!
Some waiters are not attentive! Each one takes care of their own area and they don't support each other, affecting the guests! They should be more proactive and detached from their area of responsibility! As for the beach, they should make a pier to avoid the sargasso and be able to swim after that area of algae in the sea! They should also clean with machines and not manually, as the beach is not completely clean! Of course we are aware that the sargasum is a natural reaction to the excess of nutrients that humans dump into the sea and generates these algae that are harmful to health because they stink and generate fleas and other bugs! This is how all the beaches of the Caribbean are now! In this way God is preventing us from entering His sea every time man has damaged the natural resources that God gave us during his entire existence and He observes that not even during Holy Week do we remember His Calvary, death and resurrection, His children should be in prayer and not having fun without reminding us that Jesus Christ accepted before the Father to give His life for the forgiveness of our sins!

Location and service of the. Staff. The waiters offer EXCELLENT service. Thanks to them the stay was not so bad
The adult pool has NO towel service so you have to walk a long way to get to the towels which you also have to return and walk again. VERY BAD. Lunch and dinner at the firm is not very varied and very regular. The breakfast is good. There is no waiter service to order drinks on the beach, you have to go and order them from the bar. Checkout is at 12 and they let you stay but only until 4pm because if you don't have to pay a night pass, other hotels in the area let you stay until 6pm. Uncomfortable hotel to come and go, stairs, ascents, descents. There are better hotels. We tried this one for a change but we won't be back.

The hotel is stunningly beautiful. The rooms have amazing building and a hot tub. Beachfront location in the restaurantes. Close enough to the beach, restaurants, pools, and lounges.
